Advocacy Day is an opportunity to come together as a community in support of our crucial work saving lives in communities across Illinois and to educate legislators about the importance of sustaining and growing harm reduction and recovery support services.

Attendees will:

  • Learn about what it takes to run an Overdose Prevention Site (OPS)

  • Access supplies, education, resources, and connection

  • Connect with other harm reduction and recovery specialists, members you've only seen on a zoom box, and our partners!

Organizations can:

  • Inform attendees about your support for OPS and HB 2929

  • Show support to the harm reduction & recovery community about your commitment to safe, evidence-based, public health approaches to ending death from overdose

We are thrilled to have Thresholds as our first sponsor for this year's Advocacy Day. If you as an individual or your organization would like to sponsor this event, please email Elaine Manning, Communications Coordinator at illinoisharmreduction@gmail.com.
